The Full Story
About Me
I'm a native of Springfield, MO, and I received my military commission from Missouri State University in 2010. Following graduation, I spent nearly 8 years on active duty in the US Army and deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. It was during this time that I first encountered counseling, and it saved my marriage and changed my life.
After leaving military service, I spent several years as a project manager in Corporate America.
At night, I attended graduate school and graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2021. I have recently been afforded the opportunity to pursue my passion of counseling full-time, and I look forward to helping those in need.
My "Why"
I feel as if I've been given a second chance at life, and I beyond blessed to be married to my wife and best friend for 14 years. We have 3 daughters who keep me on my toes at all times!
My Passion
I am sometimes asked, "How do you sit in a chair and listen to people all day long?" Beyond my enjoyment of speaking with clients and hearing their stories, I have discovered that my true reason for this is passion. Passion for seeing the chains of trauma being broken. Passion for seeing others living in freedom from the bonds of addiction and abuse. Passion for seeing relationships restored.
